World Animal Day is observed on 4th October. The aim of this day is to highlight the plight of animals around the globe.

It’s celebrated in various ways in different countries, irrespective of nationality, faith, religion, or political ideology. With increased awareness and education we can create a world, where animals are recognized as sentient beings and full regard is paid to their welfare.”
